On behalf of our client, an innovative and progressive company, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional for the role of Export Manager.

THE ROLE is part of the Senior Management of the company and will be actively involved in the decision-making and strategic development of the business, along with the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies and plans.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing and/or supervise the research and analysis of West European, Middle Eastern and African Markets;
• Operating and controlling the business strategies and plans for the dedicated markets conforming with company’s strategy;
• Increasing sales through existing and new customers/distributors and expanding current product portfolio;
• Implementing overall business plans for a given country/region, aiming at achieving the profitability and marketing plans;
• Mentoring and supporting the sales team with full responsibility for their operations in the regions
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports in line with the company’s diagram;
• Participating in regular management meetings;
• Proposing and implementing commercial polices in the dedicated markets;
• Generating ideas for development of the product portfolio;
• Representing the company at specialized seminars and exhibitions abroad in order to establish contacts with potential clients and to track the development trends of the branch for the respective region.

REQUIREMENTS:
• University degree in Economics, Technical Science or a related field;
• 10 years of professional experience on the same or relevant position;
• At least 5 years proven experience in people management ;
• Experience and deep knowledge of external markets export (a focus on West European, Middle Eastern and African Region will be considered as an advantage);
• Experience in an international company would be preferred;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Result driven personality and striving towards excellence aptitude;
• Strategic tinker and motivational leader with a focus on details;
• Professional attitude, business and organization understanding;
• Proactive and hands-on personality, a team player;
• Excellent command of English – both written and spoken;
• Other languages will be an advantage;
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel); experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be considered an advantage;
• Ability for regular/ad-hoc visits abroad.
