Job Description:

For one of the fast-growing sites of our client, we are looking for Plant Finance Controller. The role is directly reporting to the BU Finance Director, and the Plant Controller will be a business partner for the senior management and staff.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate manufacturing financial processes: plant budget, strategic plans, monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, cash flow, reports and analysis for plant management, including variance analysis and cost control reporting and recommendations
- Being a business partner for the local team: advice and counsel Plant Manager on financial implications of operating strategies, cost control actions and decisions
- Manage, analyze, evaluate and interpret plant financial forecasts and operating results
- Inform management of results and recommend corrective actions to address unfavorable variances
- Maintain and lead financials compliance: review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency
- Provide integrity of financial reports prepared by the plant
- Interpret, implement and monitor corporate policies and procedures, ensure financials are reported in compliance with IAS/IFRS and local statutory requirements
- Hold ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain integrity of plant general ledger and its supporting sub-systems
- Assess adequacy of reserves and overall financial reporting
- Evaluate and approve plant capital appropriation requests prior to BU and corporate management approval. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs
- Manage relations with local financial institutions and assure cash resources/generation is appropriate and sustainable
- Lead ad hoc projects as required including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades, business development initiatives such as new business opportunities.

Main Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing finance and accounting
- Strong previous experience in accounting is a must (A working experience in one of the Big4 will be a strong plus)
- Flexible and open to work in a fast-growing site in which most of the processes should be designed and implemented
- Precise, Organized and Focused
- Goal oriented and a good communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- Business acumen
- Collaborative attitude
- Fluent in English
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
